My mother, Lois Russell, the matriarch of our family, was a breast cancer survivor. My mother was the epitome of class and dignity during the times she was ill, often keeping it to herself as to "not be a burden." I continue to have such a deep respect for my mother and those who have fought and continue to fight this horrible disease. The honor is mine for being able to care for my mother when she was losing her battle but I will always remember her as being a beautiful, strong, genuine caring and loving woman who put other's needs before her own. The example she left behind will always be what I strive to accomplish and to do the things that will make her and my father proud; to make a positive impact during the time I have been given here on Earth. I love you mom and dad! Save me a seat.

This September 2023 I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight childhood cancer!

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.

Please support me by making a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.
