My Story

This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.

My Challenge

It’s the beginning

Well, here we are day one and I was able to get on my bike for a total of 14 miles done in two different sessions, but I did it. I did get a little scrape on the back of my leg, but my Peloton kept me engaged my foot came out of the pedal and it kept going around, but you know what I’m not gonna give up doing this for the kids doing this for the memory of my great niece Julia so you got me for a month and hopefully it’ll get me in good physical strength that I’ll continue on with cycling as part of my regular routine of fitness.
