I'm Riding For
Mechelle Rovegno
This is for the most beautiful and amazing woman I've ever had the honor in getting to know. Mechelle and I have been together now for 9 months and I knew from day one that she was who I was brought here for. We've been through more than I could have ever imagined, both in some extremely hard times and through some beautiful. Sadly within the oast few months she has been feeling some extreme pain and believed it was her cancer coming back for a 3rd time. It was finally confirmed and found that it's not only come back but it's come back more aggressively and has spread throughout her whole body and into her brain. I look at her and see my life and then see the strongest woman in the world. We both know what we have is more than something we've ever wanted and are both being broken beyond belief in thinking it's not going ro be long enough. It's hard to fathom her being taken away so quickly, but I'm lucky enough to have her beside me and now having the privilege in calling her my wife. She is the love of my life and we've been dealing with so much more than just that. There's a chance in us losing our home, and her best friend in losing her husband. The amount of stress is unimaginable and terrifying. My son Derrick is only 12 and has come to see Mechelle as his mom and his best friend too. It's breaking me and I feel like falling apart every day. I just pray that something will give and we can maybe we can have the remaining time we have together in peace and harmony. This is for you my love! You're my inspiration and my passion, your my life and the love of that life. I couldn't imagine you not being beside me, and pray, curse and argue with our great savior to give me your pain, to take me instead. I know he has a plan, but geeze I didn't think it was going to turn our lives upside-down. For all that read this please keep us and more particularly her in your prayers. We can surely use it. God bless you all and thank you for being here today!
My Story
This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!
Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.
Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
Please support me by making a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.
Your support will change little lives.
Thank you.
