Kenzie and Shelby Ann

I do this for all who know someone who has died of cancer but I especially ride for Shelby Ann and Kenzie. Kenzie's mama writes: When Gilli called me one day, seemingly out of the blue, to tell me she was going to ride in the Great Cycle Challenge to raise money for Child Cancer Research I was touched. What a gift...an incredible reminder that we are not alone and that my daughter's short life mattered. My hope is that no other family will have to experience the loss we did and that raising money for Child Cancer Research will go such a long way in supporting that dream." Beautiful Kenzie died way too early of Rhabdomyosarcoma. Kenzie's age: 3 years, 8 months, 23 days, 19 hours and 53 minutes. I ride for Kenzie. Luv you little one. I also ride for Shelby who died of Lukimia at age 21. Shelby was studying to become a Physical Therapist, luved music and hanging out with her friends. Shelby is missed by all who got to enjoy 21 years with her. Now I want to help me keep their memories alive by riding in their names and asking you to donate. Gilli

My Story

This September marks my fifth year that I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer.

This Challenge has become near and dear to my heart. Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.

Please support me by making a donation to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve. Any amount, please just help.
