This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

In the past years, I have ridden the challenge to support Grady, a youngster and family member who is now in remission. This year I want to honor and remember a family friend - my sister's bestie and soul sister - who lost her battle with breast cancer in 2011. If Kandi were here today I am sure she would be enthusiastic about this effort to continue the fight against cancer.
