This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

In April of 2023, my daughter Maggie was diagnosed with stage 4 Colorectal Cancer with metastasis to the liver. She was only 24, a collegiate athlete, Cross-Fitter, and Sprint Triathlete…the healthiest eater in the family so this was the last thing any of us expected. She was a NICU nurse and chose the Great Cycle Challenge to support and raise awareness for the need for more cancer research for all children fighting cancer all while waging her own battle.

Cancer is the biggest killer of kids from disease in the USA, 38 children die every week. Please donate now and support my challenge to fight kids’ cancer. Please also promote early screening for colorectal cancer. It is an epidemic affecting many 20 year olds.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
