Finley Tyson Carter

On January 21,2021 Finley Tyson Carter gained his angel wings. This is my fourth year to ride in his memory. No child should spend more days in the hospital then they do at home. It isn't an easy thing for them or the family. They go through more than I ever will. These children are my hero. They endure so much and some never make it. So help me raise money for these children. If Finley were here, he would be riding a bike with me. I ride so more children can have that chance. Finley rides on my shoulder with me every year whispering in my ear. You can do this, don't give up. He is my encouragement as I ride when I get tired.

This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.

My second year of riding in 2021 I rode in memory of Finley as he gained his wings on the 21st of January 2021, at the young age of 18 months. Last year my third year of riding in 2022 I continued to ride in memory of Finley to raise awareness of how these children have a much difficult life trying to fight cancer and some never get the chance to live. My fourth year of riding, I ride in memory of Finley so he shall never be forgotten. I also did a team for Addison. She is a friend of ours fighting leukemia.

This year 2024 I ride in memory of Finley. This will be my 4th year riding in memory of Finley. No child should go through what he went through, and not be able to be a child. I hope to have a team this year for Finley. Please join my team.
