We started Team Niko two years ago to show Nickolas how much he means to us.

On May 8th of 2022 Niko lost his battle; and joined his Lord and Savior. This year we celebrate Niko's life and the ways which he touched all our lives. Niko taught me strength, hope and how to not fear in the face of uncertainty. His motto was Isiah 41:10 - Fear not...

The community even had "Nick Nation - Fear Not - Isaiah 41:10" shirts made to show our love and support for Niko.

This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!

I ride in memory of Niko Medellin and Colt King. I also ride for Bria Slingsby, Genna Hall and Ian Hailes who are winning the fight...

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
