I'm Riding For
Kayd
This year, I'm riding in memory of local warrior, Kayd, & for his wonderful family. I'm doing everything in my power to rid the world if this horrible disease so that all kids can be carefree and cancer-free kids! Kayd's diagnosis was grade 2 Medulloblastoma brain cancer. There is still no cure and it is an extremely aggressive form of cancer. The one thing I CAN do is spread the word of the importance of Children's Cancer Research, by riding and talking to everyone I know. I hope you'll help support me, as I ride to honor the memory of a most incredible young, warrior, gone way too soon.
My Story
This September, for the sixth year in a row, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer!
Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.
Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.
I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
