Each mile I ride is in remembrance of my little cousin, Kendall Davia. The cycle challenge is in September, as well as his birthday (9/8). With each mile ridden, he will be in my heart.

My Story

14 Jul 2020

This September, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer! My cousin Kendall passed away when he was 6.5 years old from Neuroblastoma, so this challenge hits close to the heart for me. Each mile I ride is in his name with his memory at the forefront. He passed away 3/23/96 so I’ve pledged to ride 323 miles in the month of September.

Why? Because right now, cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. Over 15,700 children are diagnosed every year, and sadly, 38 children die of cancer every week.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

So I am raising funds through my challenge to help these kids and support Children's Cancer Research Fund to allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
