My Story
This September I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge for the fourth time to fight kids' cancer!
Why? Cancer is the biggest killer of children from disease in the United States. I first learned about cancer at age 7 when I lost my grandmother to lung cancer. It has impacted the lives of other family members and friends of mine since. I volunteered as a counselor at Camp Rainbow (pediatric oncology camp in Prescott, AZ) for 11 summers in a row, and the kids I met there were incredibly brave, selfless, loving, and wise beyond their years. They inspired me in so many ways, and they deserve hope, and a cure.
So I am raising funds through my challenge to support Children's Cancer Research Fund and allow them to continue their work to develop lifesaving treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer.
Your support will change little lives.
Thank you.
